The starting point

Selling a premium surface in one metro area

Innovate Bath is an official dealer of The Onyx Collection, working Charlotte and the surrounding areas. The brief was a modern site for a company in premium bathroom solutions, built around three things: the advantages of the Onyx product, trust in the brand behind it, and convenience for a local customer. Solid surface has to be explained before it can be sold, and the explanation has to look expensive enough to hold a premium quote.

  • Brand trust is part of the pitch, and the Onyx Collection dealer relationship is stated plainly
  • The product needs explaining, so the page leads with the material and its advantages
  • Premium positioning is a design problem first: the finish has to look worth its quote
  • The buying market is one metro area, which shapes the page structure and the navigation

What we built

The engineering behind it

01

Official Onyx Collection dealer, said in the buyer's language

Onyx sells on surface and finish, so the page spends its space on the visual presentation of the materials: what the solid surface looks like, what it does, and what the service around it is worth. Premium positioning is a design job first, and the layout was drawn to make the product look like the quote it carries. The four points the client leads with are stated the way a homeowner would state them: lifetime warranty, Made in the USA, fast installation, low maintenance.

02

Structure aimed at how a local homeowner searches

Page structure was planned against the search scenarios a Charlotte-area buyer works through, with titles and meta descriptions written to match and the advantages marked out clearly enough that a skimming visitor hits them. Navigation was arranged for a local audience: the answer they came for, then the way to get in touch. No ranking or traffic reporting was part of this engagement, so the search work is described here by what was built.

03

WordPress and Elementor, built after the design was signed off

The custom design came first and went to the client for approval before a single template was touched. Once it was approved, the site was built responsively on WordPress with Elementor, checked so the layout holds up across screen sizes. Elementor is the editor the site lives in, which is what keeps the content reachable for the company afterwards. Beyond WordPress, Elementor, the contact form, and SMTP delivery, this page does not itemize the plugin stack, because that is the extent of what we can verify here.

04

Form submissions have a delivery path

Contact forms were set to send through an SMTP server, and delivery was tested as its own step. Mail handed to a shared host's default sending path gets filtered quietly, and a remodeler never learns about the estimate request that never landed.

Design and devices

Making a surface material look worth the premium

The brief was premium positioning for a local contractor, and premium here means a visitor has to trust the finish on sight. So the design spends its budget on the visual presentation of the material and on the value of the service around it. The layout was custom-drawn for this company and approved before development started.

  • Material first: the surfaces carry the argument, because that is what the product gets judged on
  • The four buying claims get a section in the customer's own words: lifetime warranty, Made in the USA, fast installation, low maintenance
  • The advantages of solid surface are explained where a homeowner forms the question, ahead of the ask
  • Local convenience: the structure is arranged so a Charlotte-area homeowner reaches the answer and then the contact form

What came of it

Results

Both of these belong to the client and the manufacturer, and the build did not create either one. They are on the page because they are what a homeowner comparing three quotes is deciding between: who is an official dealer of the material, and what happens to that surface in ten years. The site's job was to put those two facts where the decision gets made, in the client's own words, and then to make it easy to ask for an estimate.

Quotable, not yet measured

The dealer relationship and the four buying claims, lifetime warranty, Made in the USA, fast installation, low maintenance, are stated on the page in a homeowner's own words, and the page structure follows the search scenarios a Charlotte-area buyer works through. That is what makes a page quotable to an assistant. Being quoted is a different matter. We do not track how often AI assistants cite this site, and structured data was outside this scope, so nothing here is claimed as a measured result.

How we ran it

The work plan, in order

Every project runs on a written plan. This is how this one ran.

  1. 01

    Discovery and positioning

Establish what the Onyx Collection product is, who buys it around Charlotte, and which claims the company is willing to stand behind. Lifetime warranty, Made in the USA, fast installation, and low maintenance came out of this stage and became the spine of the page.

  2. 02

    Structure before pixels

Map the page structure against the search scenarios a local homeowner works through, and decide what each section has to answer. Convenience for a local audience was the constraint the navigation had to satisfy.

  3. 03

    Design approval

A professional custom design built around the premium character of the product, presented and approved before development started. Nothing gets built on WordPress until the client has seen and signed off the look.

  4. 04

    Responsive build

WordPress with Elementor, laid out so the approved design holds together across devices. Layouts checked at each breakpoint and behavior verified on a phone.

  5. 05

    On‑page search structure

Titles and meta descriptions written around real Charlotte bathroom remodeling queries, headings using the phrases people type, the four advantages made explicit, and navigation arranged for a local visitor.

  6. 06

    Forms, SMTP, and handover

Wire the contact forms, route delivery through an SMTP server, confirm submissions arrive, then hand the client a site they can keep editing in Elementor.

Questions about this build

Yours is probably close to one of these. If not, ask it directly.

Ask about your project
What did this engagement cover?
Custom design for a premium bathroom remodeling company, approval of that design, a responsive WordPress build with Elementor, on‑page search structure with optimized titles and meta descriptions, and contact forms configured to deliver through an SMTP server. Analytics, reporting, and paid search were outside it.
What does the dealer status mean on this page?
Innovate Bath is an official dealer of The Onyx Collection, and that relationship, the lifetime warranty on the line, and the domestic manufacturing are the claims the company stands behind. They are the client's and the manufacturer's claims, which is why the page states them and stops there. Product claims about the material itself are not repeated, because we did not verify them.
Can Innovate Bath update the site themselves?
The site is built in Elementor, which is a visual editor, so text and images are editable in the same place they were laid out. We did not include a formal training or documentation package in this scope, so that is a fair thing to ask us for separately.
Do you publish rankings or lead counts for this project?
No. The engagement covered design, build, on‑page search structure, and form delivery. Analytics reporting was not part of it, so there are no numbers here that we can stand behind. When a client gives us their Search Console and call data, the case page carries those figures instead.
